ANYONE who looked inside a compost bin in Ludgershall’s Bell Street allotments was in for a gory shock on the afternoon of D-Day Friday 6 June.
Police say a decapitated deer’s head had been dumped in the bin, which should have housed mowing and clippings.
It was reported at 3.30pm.
