ANDOVER’S High Street has been transformed today for a small business fair which is being held to showcase local enterprise.

The Small Business Fair is taking place between 10am and 4pm and it is hoped the event will build on the success of previous years.

The fair provides the opportunity for local companies to promote their work to a wider audience and for residents to find out more about businesses that are right on their doorstep.

More than 30 local traders are due to take part in the event, with return visits from Forever Living, Room to Float and Andover Golf Club to name a few.

Meanwhile, Welcome Home Housekeeping Services, Snip-NStyle, Martial Art World, Charles Denby Financial Services and Angela’s Holidays will all be making their debut appearance at the fair.

Councillor Ian Carr, leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said: “The business fair is always a popular event and is a great opportunity for residents to browse goods and services offered by local companies.”

Test Valley Borough Council’s High Street Events working group launched the business fairs as part of its work linked to the Andover Summit.

The Small Business Fair is part of a wider programme designed to breathe new life into the High Street and surrounding areas.
