POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault on two couples in Tidworth.
The incident took place between 1.30 am and 2 am on Sunday 1 June 2014 on Pennings Road, Tidworth.
Two men and two women were walking along the road when they were assaulted by three males.
The victims were left with minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “The first suspect is described as being a black male, approximately 6ft 3ins tall, of a large, muscular build with short dark hair and aged in his mid 20s.
“He was wearing a black top, jeans and dark shoes.
“The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of a skinny build, with short brown hair which was slightly longer on top and styled in a quiff.
“He had a Tottenham Hotspur tattoo on his chest.
“He was bare-chested during the assault, but prior to this was wearing a light coloured short sleeved T-shirt and jeans.
“The third suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5ft7 ins to 5ft 8ins tall, with short hair, aged about 19 years and also wearing a T-shirt and jeans.”
Three men, aged 19, 25 and 26 years, were arrested in connection with the incident shortly after it was reported to Wiltshire Police. All three have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
