ANDOVER and District Mencap kicked off their 50th anniversary celebrations with a Motorcycle Rally, pictured, from Andover to Romsey.
The event was organised by Savages MC Motorbike Club who have recently moved to the Andover area and a group of nearly 40 riders took part.
Matthew Martin, a fundraiser for Andover Mencap said: “Of course we would like to extend our thanks to the Savages Motorbike Club and acknowledge their efforts.
“Their donation makes a real difference to the lives of many people living with learning difficulties in the local area.”
A member of Savages MC Motorbike Club said: “As the club is all about family and community we decided that, as we are new to the area, that we wanted to show our support for our new community and help raise money for a really worthwhile local area charity.
“We decided upon Andover and District Mencap as it’s a charity that really does support local people within Test Valley.”
