PEOPLE were kept entertained over the bank holiday with two May fairs.
Both the Upper Clatford and Anna Valley and Hurstbourne Priors May events took place on Monday.
At the Balksbury Bridge playing field event, a jungle theme took over, with fancy dress animals seen alongside real animals provided by Creature Contacts, who took along a python, a skunk, a tarantula and a giant millipede.
The children’s model raft competition attracted a large number of entrants, particularly in the age eight to 10 category, with a race down Pill Hill brook.
The Clatford Valley Gardening Club sold plants for summer flowering, along with traditional stalls and refreshments.
All funds raised will be distributed among local organisations and will benefit people living within Upper Clatford and Anna Valley.
The Hurstbourne Priors fayre took place in the recreation ground, with crowds enjoying circus skills demonstrations and storytime for youngsters.
The laser clay shoot also proved a popular attraction, along with the beat the keeper stand.
