BERT and Gert’s artisan and vintage market will come to Andover High Street on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Building on last year’s debut attendance, Bert and Gert is back with a busy market full of eclectic bits and bobs.

With stalls ranging from jewellery to bric-a-brac and sweets to craft goods, there will be something for everyone and this year they will also be bringing vintage clothing and furniture stalls.

Music in the Time Ring will come from group The Frenzied and the Diligent, providing a lively blend of sweet jazz and blues while a selection of Greek and Indian refreshments will be available on the day.

Councillor Ian Carr, leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said: “Markets provide a much-needed boost to high street economies and bring colour and vibrancy to the town.

“Nearly 20 different market events are already planned for this year to encourage people to visit the town, browse and experience all that Andover has to offer.

“Bert and Gert’s offers something a little bit different with its vintage flavour and artisan based goods which should appeal to residents and visitors alike.”

Bert and Gert’s will also be visiting Andover on 8 June, 13 July and 10 August.

There is still time for local traders to get involved in the Bert and Gert experience.
