A FREE course is being offered to jobseekers in Andover.
The free job searching skills training course will start on Tuesday, 13 May at King Arthur’s Hall.
Local entrepreneur Nick Rose has teamed up with Janet Palmer, of the Andover Jobs Club, Kevin Moore and members of the Andover Careers Action group.
Every Tuesday afternoon for six weeks, anyone seeking a job can receive individual mentoring from experienced managers to improve their interview skills.
Nick said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are seeking work for the first time, or looking to get back into work after a period of absence.
“They will receive help with letter writing, laying out their CV and practical advice for job interviews.
“We will even be running mock interviews, where course members come dressed in their suits, to help them get the jobs they are applying for.”
To take part in the job skills training course, call Andover Adults and Family Learning Centre on 01264 359062.
