MORE than 1,200 chocolate eggs have been distributed to local children, young people and vulnerable adults in the community.
Eggs were donated from across the community by individuals, schools and churches.
Children in the foodbank club at Farleigh School encouraged other pupils to donate eggs which they then delivered to Andover Mencap.
Among the organisations working across the Test Valley that received eggs were Young Carers, Homestart and Hampshire Children’s Services.
A spokesman for the foodbank said: “The Andover foodbank thanks all those who donated chocolate eggs.”
