A MAN in his 20s attacked a young teenager in Andover by punching him in the face leaving the boy with a swollen lip and wobbly tooth.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in Pilgrim’s Way Park in Andover early in the morning of Monday 24 March at around 7am.
The 14-year-old was walking his dog when an unknown young man shouted at him and punched him twice to the face and held him down before jogging off.
The offender is described as black, aged in his early 20s, of a slim to medium build, about 6ft tall and had a local accent. He was wearing black formal trousers, a black hooded top, a black beenie hat and a black scarf around the lower part of his face.
PC Natalie Pughe said: “There may have been many people around at this time, either on their way to work or walking their dogs.
“I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything that could help with this investigation.”
