A WOMAN was sexually assaulted as she walked to work in Andover.

The attack happened at 2.05pm on Wednesday, 19 February as the 25-year-old woman was walking along Weyhill Road, opposite the Station Inn.

A man walking past grabbed hold of her and sexually assulted her before walking off towards Junction Road.

Andover police has released an efit of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Pc Andrew White, of Andover police, said: “This happened opposite to the Station Inn in Andover near to the town centre. The area is a busy area for people walking into the town centre.

“Police are also interested to hear from any person who may have witnessed the incident.”
