A NATIONAL trade body which represents thousands of painters and decorators across the UK is offering non-members the chance to boost their businesses.
The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA), which will mark 120 years as a national trade body in 2014, is urging non-members in the industry to take advantage of PDA membership and showcase their professionalism and high standards.
The association offers members a range of business benefits, not least of which is the option to use the PDA’s quality marque, which is recognised as a symbol of quality and craftsmanship across the nation.
Membership of the PDA also includes free legal and tax advice, as well as discount rates on fuel, tool hire and liability, van and medical insurances.
PDA chief executive, Neil Ogilvie, said: “Throughout the long and prestigious history of the PDA, we have worked to benefit members while ensuring that those with the right to display the PDA quality marque provide only the best service to customers.
“While we expect high standards from our members, the return on their investment offers a wealth of opportunities for their businesses.”
