MUMS and dads were able to find out what is on offer for their offspring in Andover.
Mums In The Know (MITK) – a website designed to be a one-stopshop for parents to find out about groups and clubs in the area – put on the showcase event at St Paul’s Church, in Smannell Road, Andover, on Saturday.
It was opened by Test Valley Mayor Janet Whitely.
It gave parents a taste of what activities are available for their children in the area.
Sarah Gisbourne, area manager of MITK, said: “The people that came had a lovely time.
“I just wanted people to see for themselves and to try out what there is as there are a lot of groups in Andover. I wanted to help Andover parents know what there is.”
Sarah, who set up the website last summer, added: “Ideally we would like every parent in Andover to know about us. We want to have everything that you need to know as a parent – all the events and groups – on there so that parents know where to look.”
Groups that attended the get-together included Rhythm Time, The Long Overdue Theatre School, Enham Trust, Test Valley Brass and The Scott Centre.
