ANTON Junior School’s Year 4 pupils had a trip of a lifetime when they ‘flew’ to India for the day.
The annual event for pupils sees the children take a virtual flight in their classroom before touching down in India complete with their summer wear.
Dave May, Year 4 teacher, said: “The children came with a suitcase packed with summer clothes and sunglasses and took a ride on ‘Anton Airways’.
“When we arrived in ‘India’ the children took part in a range of Indian-themed activities in order to interest and excite them about the up and coming India topic.”
Year 4 pupil Theo Dominy said: “It was brilliant.
“We got on the plane in Miss Paddock’s classroom and the teachers and LSAs served us drinks as we flew to India.
“When we got there we had a go at lots of activities including Indian dancing and designing henna tattoos.
“It was a really fun day.”
