A CHARITY shop and hair salon were broken into in Tidworth.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for information after the incident at the Sue Ryder Charity shop, in Station Road, between 3pm on Saturday, 28 and 9am on Monday, 30 December 2013.

The offender(s) broke the lock on the rear door of the premises but could not get in. A shed at the back of the shop was also broken into but nothing was stolen.

A second incident occurred at the Marc Adams Hair salon in Station Road during a similar time period. The offender(s) smashed a window and took cash and two Matrix Vavoom freezing sprays.

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team is carrying out extra patrols in the area.
