Man assaulted near King Arthur's Way Pub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside The Merlin pub in King Arthur's Way, Andover.

The victim was at the kebab van at about 9pm on December 21, when he saw an altercation between a man and a woman in the car park. The man involved then came running at the victim and assaulted him, causing an injury to his eye.

PC Lorraine Daubney said: “There were some other people in the car park at the time who may have see this incident. If you know anything, please contact me as soon as possible.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Daubney at Andover Police Station on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
