AN ELDERLY woman has been taken to hospital following a collision in Andover town centre.
The incident between the pedestrian and van was reported to the emergency services shortly before 1pm today.
It happened outside the police station in South Street. A police spokeswoman told the Advertiser that the incident did not involve any police vehicles.
South Street was closed and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance landed in Vigo Park, but was not needed.
The female pedestrian has been taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, say police.
