TEAM members from seven different Wilko stores including Andover have raised £500 for Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal.
The appeal was chosen as the stores’ regional charity of the year and raised the money at a glamorous charity ball held at the Marriott Hotel in Slough.
Nearly 100 people attended, including team members from Waterlooville, Burgess Hill, Horsham, Worthing, Basingstoke, Camberley and Andover.
Paul Swatton, regional manager of the Wilko stores, said: “Our Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal charity ball was a great success and I am really happy with the total raised.
“We all had a great time on the night and I must say everyone looked absolutely fantastic.
I hope the money we raised will help the charity in the great work they do.”
Pam Marshall, founder, trustee and secretary at Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal, said: “We rely on donations to help us build holiday homes for sick children and their families to enjoy, so support from Wilko is always very much appreciated.
“It was a great event and the total raised really will go a long way.”
