8:00am Wednesday 16th October 2013 in News
LOCAL doctor Malcolm Stone has raised over £1,000 for Oxfam and the Andover Citizens Advice Bureau by completing the Edinburgh Marathon.
The Andover Citizens Advice Bureau were delighted that Dr Stone agreed to run for them and personally delivered a certificate to him at his surgery.
Chairman of Trustees for the Andover Citizens Advice Bureau Chris Lynn said: “We agreed that in honour of him helping us we wanted to present him with a certificate from us at the CAB.
“We managed to catch him in his surgery before the start of the day and surprised him with the presentation.
“On behalf of both Oxfam and ourselves we would like to take this opportunity to thank Malcolm publicly for his help.”
