Drugs crackdown leads to arrest of six people

TWO men have been charged with drug offences following a police raid at a property in Andover on Thursday, 22 August.
Police forced entry into the address in Acre Court at around 5pm following a tip-off from the local community.
Once inside theproperty, officers foundsuspected Class A drugs along with a large amount of money.
Jamie Aziz, 20, from Whitby Road in London has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and Martin Shortell-Campbell, 31, from Caesar Close in Andover has been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs.
Both men appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, 4 September.
Two men aged 19 and 20 from London were also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
They have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until Tuesday, 29 October.
A 40-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman from Andover arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until Wednesday, 30 October.
A 31-year-old man from Andover was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug. He has also been bailed, pending further enquiries, until Monday, 28 October.
