Flats set to be passed

SIX flats above a restaurant in Andover town centre are expected to be approved by councillors meeting at Beech Hurst on Thursday 7 March.

Members of Test Valley Borough Council’s northern area planning committee have been recommended to permit, subject to conditions, the dwellings above Wimpey in the Upper High Street.

Owners want to change the use of the first and second floors from office to residential.

The property will have a bin store and planners say the arrangement for litter collection will be the same for other properties on the High Street and so there are no planning objections.
