Superfast deal

WILTSHIRE Council has signed a deal with BT that will bring superfast broadband to about 90 per cent of Wiltshire by March 2016.

Tidworth councillor Mark Connolly said: “This is great news for the county as it will help businesses compete and allow domestic users superfast broadband too.

“Speeds will be between 24Mbps and 80Mbps.

“Even in areas that will not get superfast broadband, speeds will be in excess of 2Mbps.”
