PEOPLE who may be concerned about the proposed welfare reforms being introduced this spring can find out more at a special information day in Andover on 6 March.
The welfare reform day event at Aster’s Testway House office from noon until 7pm will be attended by Aster Neighbourhoods, lettings teams and staff from Test Valley Borough Council.
A spokeswoman for Aster Communities said: “The main aim of this event is to explain to customers how the welfare reform will affect them in relation to their housing.
“It will offer advice and support about how they are able to downsize if they are under-occupying their home and advice for people who are faced with homelessness.
“There will also be demonstrations on how to register with homeswapper to undertake mutual exchanges. This is being arranged through Aster Communities.”
