I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Reg, and my condolences go out to his family. Reg was not only a great performer and a lovely man, he was completely unique with his style and humour. He made a massive contribution to music and will be very sadly missed by a great many people. God bless you Reg, may you rest in peace.

I was born in Andover and grew up listening to the Troggs. I live in Canada now but I always love to tell people about the fact that I came from the same town as the Troggs and that my Dad worked with one of the band members Dad. With the song Wild Thing they became famous all over the world. I'm glad Reg continued to live in Andover and that his songs will live on forever.

It was so exciting to be a teenager in Andover in 1966, thanks to Reg, Chris, Pete, and Ronnie. Four top ten hits including a number one - brilliant.

How typical of Reg when he took the young double amputee from Andover to a big concert in Antwerp, where the Troggs were performing. I'll always remember and respect Reg for that kindness and generosity.

I'm so sad he's left us, but thanks to his music we'll always be reminded of a very special man.
