A NEW residential lettings manager is so impressed with Basingstoke as a centre that she currently commutes from her home in Oxford.
Nadine Allen, 38, has joined the town centre office of haart estate agents and has plans to relocate closer to her new base.
Ms Allen, who started working in the lettings arm of the property industry five years ago after being in residential sales, said: "I love Basingstoke."
She is impressed by the diversity of the town, and added: "There is a very high demand for rented property as people relocate here. Some properties let on the first viewing.
"There are more people looking to rent than properties available.
"Rents are slowly creeping up as demand is very high for quality properties."
