Councillor Matthew Ellery
A BASINGSTOKE and Deane Borough Councillor arrested on suspicion of theft will face no further action.
As reported by The Gazette , Independent Brighton Hill South councillor Matthew Ellery was arrested on suspicion of theft from his father’s shop, Squirrels Collectors Centre, in New Street, in February.
And police have now confirmed that Cllr Ellery had been released with no further action.
