LABOUR'S prospective parliamentary candidate for the Basingstoke seat in next year's General Election, Dr Paul Harvey, has urged residents to support his bid to become the town's next MP in an exclusive video with The Gazette.
Around 50 Labour supporters and members of the public saw Dr Harvey launch his General Election campaign in Eastrop this morning.
The 40-year-old will battle it out against current Conservative MP Maria Miller, UKIP candidate Alan Stone and Liberal Democrats hopeful Janice Spalding, to become Basingstoke's next MP on May 7.
