POLICE today closed a section of the southbound A34, near Whitchurch, following an incident involving an articulated lorry.
The lorry flipped onto its side, blocking the southbound carriageway, between Whitchurch and Bullington Cross, near the junction with the A303.
The southbound lane of the A34 has been closed since around 4.30am.
Police expect both northbound and southbound carriageways to be closed between approximately 10am and 11am, while the lorry is recovered.
