WEEKLY public events in Whitchurch.

On Sundays, at St John Fisher Church, there is a Catholic Mass at 9am, a morning service at the Baptist Church at 10.30am, and an Alpha Course at the Methodist Church, from 7pm to 8.30pm.

AT All Hallows, in Whitchurch, on April 12, a peal of bells will be rung lasting about three hours.

The visiting ringers will be led by Ian Campbell.

The peal will start at about 9.30am.

THERE will be an Easter offering service at Old Basing Methodist Church on April 17 at 1.45pm.

SERVICES at St Mary the Virgin, Silchester, begin on Sunday with Holy Communion at 8am and an All Age Worship at 10am.

Next Sunday, April 13, there will be sung communion at 10am.

The annual parochial church meeting of St Mary's will be next Wednesday, at 7.45pm, in the Mission Church, in Bramley Road, and will be an opportunity to have your say on the running of the church. Everyone is welcome.

AT Silchester Methodist Church, on Sunday, April 13, the service of Holy Communion will be led by the Reverend Dermot Thornberry.
