A TRANSFORMER failure is being blamed for the power cut that shut part of Basingstoke College of Technology today.
The power shortage has meant that no classes have been held in the south site of the college, which is in Worting Road, Basingstoke.
However, Jo Gemmell, marketing and communications coordinator for the college, said a generator will be brought in today so that everything will be back to normal tomorrow.
Evening classes will proceed tonight, with the exception of Silver Surfer and PC Build and Repair.
