CCTV could be used at Hartley Wintney allotments to catch critter

AN infra-red camera may be installed at allotments in Hartley Wintney to establish what is nibbling vegetables.

The parish council is concerned about reports from the Dilly Lane allotments that plot-holders are giving up because so much produce is being eaten by animals.

Parish council chairman Dorothy Harvey said: “Our clerk has investigated and it seems we could install a camera. It could be mice, but someone put up a net covering and found a dead squirrel in it.”
