Victim spots burglar running out of house

A WOMAN returned from work to see a burglar running out of her house.
The attempted burglary took place in Roman Road, Winklebury, Basingstoke, just before 4.30pm on Wednesday, October 3.
The 36-year-old woman came home and once inside her house, saw a man running out of the driveway.
She found that a window in the conservatory at the back of the house had been smashed.
Police believe the offender ran off towards Kenilworth Road.
