Basingstoke ring road resurfacing rescheduled

RESURFACING work on the A339 Ringway East in Basingstoke has been delayed and will now start on October 10.

The work is to resurface a 1.5km strip of the northbound dual carriageway of the road from just north of the Black Dam Roundabout to just north of the A33 slip road.

The work will be conducted between 9pm and 6am and will take two weeks. After the surfacing work, bridge joints will be reinstated on railway bridges at Daneshill and the Eastrop flyover. It was originally planned to start on October 8.

Diversions will be in place while the work is in progress.
