11:00am Tuesday 25th September 2012 in Local By Emily Roberts, Chief Reporter
A BASINGSTOKE secondary school has appointed a new partner to provide school meals to its 760 students.
Following a review, headteacher Anthony Corish and his team at Bishop Challoner Catholic Secondary School, in South Ham, awarded the contract to Fleet-based Pabulum.
The independent contract caterer specialises in using local, fresh and ethically sourced ingredients from sustainable sources, and is one of the largest independent suppliers of school meals in the South of England.
Mr Corish said: “We like the idea that Pabulum is based close by and that the team promises a very hands-on and supportive approach.”
