Men attacked in South Ham, Basingstoke

A GANG assaulted two men as they walked through the South Ham area of Basingstoke at the weekend.

The attack occurred at about 8.20pm on September 15, when an 18-year-old man and 39-year-old man were walking out of an alleyway between Dartmouth Walk and Paddock Road, opposite Westside Community Centre.

It is believed there may have been up to six people in the group who attacked them.

One of the attackers is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6ft, of medium build and with short, gingery, fair hair.

The 39-year-old man suffered a broken collar bone and the 18-year-old sustained facial injuries. Both were treated at Basingstoke hospital .
