OLYMPIC hockey star Alex Danson is expected to join the London 2012 Victory Parade today.

Tens of thousands of people will line the streets of London to watch around 800 British Olympic and Paralympic athletes, including Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis and Jonnie Peacock.

Starting at 1.30pm, the athletes will travel on 21 open-top floats, grouped in alphabetical order by their sport.

Alex, 27, from Odiham, won a bronze medal for Team GB in the women’s hockey, and is due to take part in the celebratory parade this afternoon.
