HAMPSHIRE police officers will march in uniform at this weekend’s Brighton and Hove Pride parade.

A total of officers and members of police staff will represent the force in the march on Saturday, September 1.

It is the sixth year that the force’s officers have been given permission to march in the parade.

Assistant Chief Constable Laura Nicholson said: “Our involvement in the parade is a visible demonstration of our commitment and support to our own lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender officers and staff as well as the diverse communities we serve.”
