Overton police out on the beat
3:00pm Sunday 26th August 2012 in Local By Emily Roberts, Chief Reporter
POLICE have stepped up their foot patrols in Overton following a bout of anti-social behaviour.
PC Richard Baldwin said officers have tried to deter louts in the areas most affected by the bad behaviour.
During July there were also 10 reports of “suspicious activity” in the beat area.
PC Baldwin said: “I cannot stress too highly the importance of calling the police with anything that you suspect is suspicious in its nature – give us a call on 101.”
