Basingstoke teen told to pay pie theft compensation

A TEENAGER has been convicted of stealing a baguette and a pie worth £4.70 from Jay Bee’s Convenience Store, in Wessex Close, Kings Furlong, Basingstoke.

The 16-year-old, of no fixed abode, also admitted possession of cannabis.

Magistrates made him subject to a youth rehabilitation order for six months and ordered him to pay £5 compensation.
