A MAN with an Elvis Presley-type haircut made dirty remarks to a teenage boy in Basingstoke.
Police are investigating after a 13-year-old youth in the Rooksdown area was approached from behind by a man he did not know.

The stranger made what is described as “a lewd comment” and the boy then ran off.
The man is described as aged between 45 and 50, about 5ft 7ins tall, with a pot belly, a round face and chubby arms.

He had short straight black hair with a wave to the front left side of his head. The victim described the man’s hair as looking like an “Elvis haircut but shorter”.
He was also clean-shaven and was wearing a light-blue short-sleeved top with a collar, light-blue jeans and white shoes.

He is further described as having dark-coloured eyes, one of which was weeping.
The incident is reported to have occurred at 5.30pm on Wednesday, July 4, when the boy was walking along Park Prewett Road towards the Rooksdown Community Centre, near to the pharmacy.
