Scooter stolen from boy

A 13-year-old boy had his scooter and mobile phone stolen as he was heading home.

He was travelling along a footpath that leads from the Norn Hill bridge towards Basing View and the railway line when he felt something knock onto his back.

The robber was described as white, about 17-years-old, 5ft 11ins tall, of a slim build with short brown hair and wearing a plain black t-shirt and jeans.

He was riding a black bike.

PC Adam Knight of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team said: “This was an unacceptable incident involving and older boy threatening a 13-year-old.

“Were you in the area at the time? Did you see someone matching the description or anything suspicious?”
