New SeeAbility initiative encourages creativity

A CHARITY for people with visual impairment has launched a project to encourage users’ creativity.

SeeAbility, which provides a range of specialised services for people with visual impairment and additional disabilities, has started a Celebrating Creativity initiative.

The project promotes expression through creativity and encourages the creative talents of people who use SeeAbility, formerly the Royal School for the Blind. The young people who attend SeeAbility's Penney Activity Centre, in Heather Drive, Tadley, will be taking part in the initiative and their work will be on display throughout the charity’s services and on SeeAbility's website.

Artwork expected to be submitted throughout the year will include paintings, drawings, photography, needlework, poetry and sculpture. More information about the charity can be found at seeability.org.
