RESIDENTS of Overton are to be given a new way to consult the parish over the future of the village.
A community strategy document will be available online for people to fill in their views on what they would like to happen in the village.
Parish councillors are working on a list of questions. Results will form part of the council's agenda for the next four years.
The questions will cover issues such as affordable housing, crime, youth activities and allotments.
It is the first time the community strategy document will be available to fill in online and will allow residents to give detailed answers, as opposed to the old tickbox questionnaires.
It will be ready by October after the team finalises the document with the full parish council.
Parish councillor Tony Leach, who is on the team drafting the questions, said: "We will circulate the questions with the news and views newsletter but also online to further encourage more people to take part.
"By giving residents the opportunity to provide in-depth answers, we hope to form a detailed picture of what the residents of Overton would like to see covered at parish council meetings."
The questionnaire will be available at www.overtonvillage.com and more information will be provided nearer the time.
