A FOOD bank is appealing for donations to boost warehouse stock.
Volunteers at the Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank, based in The Well Baptist Church in Trafford Street, say they are in need of tinned fish and meat, UHT milk, instant mash and 500g bags of sugar.
Donations can be made to Tesco and Asda in Farnworth or at the food bank itself. Go to farnworthkearsley.foodbank.
