BLACKROD community group wants residents to help to mark the centenary of the First World War. The group is researching the men whose names appear on the Blackrod Cenotaph, and is asking anyone with information or memorabilia linked to the war to attend a meeting on Thursday, February 27, at the Blackrod Town Council offices from 10am until noon.
