Woman taken to hospital after falling onto ringway west Basingstoke
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after falling onto ringway west, Basingstoke.
A spokeswoman for South Cental Ambulance Service confirmed that they were called to the scene at 8.14pm this evening to reports of a woman "falling from a height".
A rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew, hazardous area response team and two ambulance doctors attended the incident near the Thornycroft Roundabout.
The woman, in her 20s, was treated at the scene for head injuries before being taken by ambulance to Southampton General hospital, accompanied by the two doctors.
Police closed the road following the incident.
