Teens will appear today in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court
TWO teenagers have been charged in connection with a stabbing incident in Chineham.
Ciaran Boyle, 19, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, are set to appear in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court today on charges relating to an incident in St Joseph’s Crescent on Tuesday where a 27-year-old man sustained stab wounds.
Boyle, of St Peter’s Road, South Ham, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and the 17-year-old has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 17-year-old girl and a 35-year-old man, both from Basingstoke, who were also arrested in connection with this incident have been released on bail until January 8, 2014, pending further enquiries.
A 19-year-old man from Basingstoke has also been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently in police custody.
