VOLUNTEERS who support charities and groups in the borough will be recognised for their efforts at a special reception being held by Basingstoke Voluntary Services.
The Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Councillor Dan Putty, will present certificates to 33 volunteers on October 15 in the council chamber.
Sarah Robinson, operational manager of volunteering at BVS, said: “Anyone can volunteer, and this is an opportunity to say thank-you to those people who have made such a wonderful contribution to the community.”
