Video: Teachers dress up as One Direction to film video for Comic Relief
5:46pm Tuesday 12th March 2013 in Local By Emily Roberts, Chief Reporter
FIVE male members of staff at a Tadley primary school dressed up as pop-stars One Direction to film a video for Comic Relief.
Their footage on YouTube has already been viewed more than 650 times, and Burnham Copse Primary School is hoping it will encourage people to donate to this year’s Red Nose Day Appeal.
The staff at the school in New Church Road were transformed into Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis and Liam by wearing masks, before shooting a video in the school grounds to the official Comic Relief single ‘One Way or Another/Teenage Kicks.’
The video, shown below, will be played in an assembly on Red Nose Day this Friday, which parents have been invited to attend.
Ali Armstrong, acting headteacher at Burnham Copse, said: “We are encouraged to ‘do something funny for money’ and we hope that this video will achieve just that. Here at Burnham Copse Primary School each class is made aware of the meaning behind Comic Relief and the help that it provides to others.”
