Search for missing Swindon man
2:50pm Monday 4th March 2013 in Local By Chris Gregory
OFFICERS searching for a missing Swindon man have appealed for help from people in Hampshire.
Marvin Munday, 51, was last seen in Swindon town centre at 1pm on Friday, March 1. It was understood he was going to Marlborough but didn’t return and his family haven’t been able to contact him since.
Wiltshire Police has now distributed pictures of Mr Munday to other police forces in case he has left that county.
Inspector Dave Minty said: “Officers have been searching for Marvin throughout the weekend and w are increasingly concerned for his welfare. He has health problems for which he requires medication and is considered to be vulnerable.”
Mr Munday is described as white, of large build and bald. He wore a blue waterproof coat, jeans and black boots. He also had a large rucksack with a yellow vest draped over it.
Anyone with information can contact Wiltshire Police on 101.
