CAFE Teen Youth Club in Overton is enjoying its new home after switching to the newly-opened Ken Hogan Pavilion.

The group meets every other Friday night for activities, games and contests.

Organiser Earl Robinson said: “We are really enjoying the new home. It is a great space, it has parking for parents, and they have really worked with us allowing us to store our stuff.

“The club is aimed at Year 7 and 8. Along with games and activities, there is also a teaching slot with a Christian message. This is varied in its approach and delivery.

“After an hour of the club, we then put out our tables and stools and turn it into a café.”

Cafe Teen is a joint initiative between St Mary’s Church and The Community Church, in Overton, led by members from each of the churches.
